Is Sunrise Church affiliated with any organization or denomination?Sunrise Church of the East Valley is a local, community, non-denominational church. We are not affiliated with any denomination.

 
What are the people of Sunrise Church like?
People from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and age groups call Sunrise Church their home. People tend to “stick” at Sunrise Church, often after the first visit, in part because the people demonstrate a friendly, welcoming spirit and a spirit of wanting new people to become a part of Sunrise.
 
What’s the worship music like?
Our church has a worship band that leads people into the worship of Jesus Christ. Our focus in our weekend service is on praising and giving God honor through our worship. In our worship service, the music centers around a worship band consisting of guitars and drums playing and singing. We sing both contemporary praise songs and hymns.
 
What is the teaching like?
The messages are faithful to God’s Word and also apply to people where they find themselves in life. The teaching at Sunrise leads people to connect with Jesus and grow in their faith.
 

Will I be pressured to do anything?
No. We want you to relax and enjoy the service.Who is the pastor?

How can I begin a spiritual relationship with God?
You can begin by receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior. We can help you get to know God. If you stop by the NEXT STEPS table, we’ll pray with you and can give you a “HOW TO GROW” packet.
